How to buy a unit in a project

Five steps,
from the plan to the keys.

  1. 01Choose the unitFrom the project's list, with its price, area and true status.
  2. 02Reserve itWith a deposit, the unit shows as reserved to everyone and is offered to no one else.
  3. 03The contract at the notaryThe contract with the developer, with the handover date and the payment plan in writing.
  4. 04Pay as it is builtInstalments follow the construction stages, and you follow them closely.
  5. 05Keys and titleTake the apartment and, once registered with ASHK, the title deed.

Projects on paper are where buyers lose the most. So the checks happen before publication and are repeated during construction.

  • The building permitThe permit's number and date, checked in the public register.
  • Ownership of the landThe land registered with ASHK, free of charges and seizures.
  • The developerThe company registered with QKB, and its earlier projects.
  • Prices and statusThe developer's price list, reconfirmed each time a unit is sold or reserved.
